Melinda Pitt
Melinda Pitt is the Mentor Coordinator for Big Brothers Big Sisters of
Bremer County.  Melinda has been in her position since August of
2004.  Melinda has lived in Waverly since 1992.  Her family consists
of husband, Rey and children, Shawn and Megan.  Melinda has a
Bachelor of Arts degree in Child Family Development with a minor in
psychology from Northeast Missouri State University.  In her free time,
Melinda enjoys camping, scrap booking, reading, and cross-stitching.

Betty Fink
Betty was born and raised in Parkersburg, IA.  In the past she owned
a business, "Betty's Formal Creations".  She has also worked as
Study Hall Monitor in Parkersburg High School and was 4H Program
Assistant for Black Hawk County Extension.  Betty currently resides in
Waterloo and she is the proud mom of three grown daughters.

Ellen Krogmann
Ellen Krogmann is the Mentor Coordinator for Delaware County. She
began her role in August of 2006. Ellen was born and raised in
Manchester, Iowa. She attended West Delaware High School,
graduated from Kirkwood Community College with an AA in Business
and then went on to receive a BS in Family and Consumer Sciences
from Iowa State University. Ellen and her husband Al, reside in
Manchester, Iowa. Together they have three children, Derek, Mitch
and Brooke. In her free time Ellen enjoys scrap-booking, baking,
shopping, spending time with her family and walking.

Jeannie Neeley
Jeannie Neeley was born and raised in Oklahoma where she earned
a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education at Oklahoma State
University.   She, her husband Bruce and daughter Andrea came to
Independence, Iowa, from Denton, Texas, in August of 1991.  
Currently, her husband is Executive Director of Heartland Acres
Agribition Center in Independence and her daughter is teaching
English to 2nd graders at a private school in Mexico City.  While
Jeannie was serving as a volunteer in the Independence Schools in
1992, the superintendent approached her to help start a mentoring
program for that school district.  Becoming a Big Brothers Big Sisters
affiliate in October 2006 has enhanced that program.

Dennis Kann
Dennis is the Partnership Development Coordinator for Big Brothers
Big Sisters.  He is currently attending Northern Iowa University and is
a Big Brother in the program.  Dennis is from Clinton, Iowa and has
lived in Waterloo for four years.  His interests include: spending time
with friends and family, movies, video games and rooting for the
Bears, Bulls, Cardinals, Hawkeyes and Panthers.

Sheila Scoular
Sheila is the Administrative Professional with BBBS and has worked in
the accounting/bookeeping field for over 25 years.  She also works
part-time for a Waterloo church doing their bookkeeping. Sheila has
two sons one who is a big soccer player and one who is a computer
nut. She loves to do any kind of craft especially scrapbooking. In the
summer she loves working in the yard and in the winter likes the hot
tub outside! Sheila attends church at Heartland Vineyard and really
enjoys bible study group on Tuesday nights.

Maxcine Keller
Maxcine was born in Memphis, TN and raised in Waterloo, IA.  She is
the AMACHI Mentor Coordinator for Big Brothers Big Sisters.  She
received her B.S. in Human Services with a minor in psychology from
Upper Iowa University and will receive her Masters in Public
Administration/Health and Human Services in May of 2009.  Prior to
BBBS, Maxcine worked at Exceptional Persons, Inc (EPI) as a
Community Living Counselor with the mentally ill.  She has two
daughters and one son.  Maxcine enjoys bingo, church and traveling.

Lorrie Giller
Lorrie serves as a Mentor Coordinator for the school-based program
in the Waterloo office.  She previously held positions at Exceptional
Persons Inc. as Program Manager for the supported employment
program and Services Coordinator for individual housing units.  
Earlier in her career she provided behavioral support for the youth at
Four Oaks Incorporated.  Lorrie was born and raised in Ashtabula,
Ohio as the oldest of six children.  She currently lives in Cedar Falls,
IA with her husband Don and daughter Cassandra.  Her oldest
daughter Jessica and her husband Luke just had a baby boy (Ethan)
and live in Waterloo.  Her second eldest, Amanda and her daughter,
Alexia also live in Cedar Falls.  Lorrie's son Michael currently attends
University of Iowa and will be graduating in May.  Lorrie devotes her
free time to her family, friends and volunteering within her church.

Val Maximovich
Val Maximovich grew up in Independence. She was most recently
employed with the Independence Community School District. She has
also been administrative assistant for Buchanan County Economic
Development and publisher of the Buchanan County Tourism Issue.
She also was a 4-H Youth and Program Assistant for Iowa State
Extension - Buchanan County and classified manager and
administrative assistant for the Independence Newspapers. Val and
her spouse live in Independence with her 14 year old daughter. She
enjoys walking, scrap booking, spending time with her family, and
being involved with community and church activities.    

Angie Knoll
Angie Knoll is a community based Mentor Coordinator for Big
Brothers Big Sisters.  She is a UNI graduate with a B.A. in Social
Work.  Angie worked as an intern for BBBS for several months
previous to being hired as a Mentor Coordinator.  She lives in
Waterloo with her boyfriend Shane and her son Ethan.  Her interests
include camping, canoing, movies, shopping and spending time with
family.

Delores Stadlander
Delores Stadtlander grew up in Franklin County. She was most
recently employed at the Hampton Chronicle where she was the
Advertising Manager for 21 years. Delores and her husband Arvin of
34 years have 2 children. Tony who lives in Coulter and graduated
from NIACC with a AA and Tool and Die Degree.Ginger was marriedin
2004 to Nate Hansen. Ginger has a AA from Ellsworth community
college and Nate is a graduated of ISU. They live on an acreage in
the Latimer Coulter area where Nate farms. They have a new son
named Hudson Roy that is grandmas pride and joy. Delores and Arvin
enjoy fishing, traveling and taking care of Hudson. They are members
of St. John's Lutheran Church, where they are involved with the many
Danish heritage activities there.
